Teen Board Program Ends

As of November 1, 2012, the Teen Board program at Lehigh Valley Mall has come to an end after 12 years of service. We are forever grateful to the mall and management staff for their support over all these years.

We are especially grateful to all the teens, who have donated their time, service and talents to this program. This site remains as an archive of some of their accomplishments.

Mom’s Nite Out

Lehigh Valley Mall and WLEV partnered up to celebrate Mom’s Nite Out, a mall-wide free event, that was a guilt-free excuse for moms to take the night off to relax and enjoy a celebration of motherhood.

Teen Board was on hand to help Moms get a well-deserved break at this event featuring makeovers, entertainment, refreshments, goodie bags, style presentations, shopping incentives, pampering with mini-massages and hair styling and more!

It was a busy night as Teen Board registered hundreds of moms for this event and passed out goodie bags to all in attendance.

There was lots of tasty treats and drinks for all to sample!

And of course activities and crafts to keep younger children busy!

While our moms registered to get a mini-make over and their hair done!

A great nite was had by all. And of course, there was no better time to do a little Mother’s Day shopping with all the great savings and special offers by the Merchants at Lehigh Valley Mall.

Teen Board helps with Easter Bunny Arrival at Lehigh Valley Mall

Teen Board helped everyone to HOP into spring at the Easter Bunny Arrival on Saturday, March 17th, 2012.

We celebrated the release of Universal’s rollicking comedy “HOP” (on Blu-Ray/DVD March 23rd) by making drums with all the children just like E.B. in the movie!

Plus every child got an Easter basket with lots of goodies!

The Easter Bunny also joined in the fun and watched the “HOP” preview DVD, before returning to The Bunny’s Magical Garden for photographs now through Easter.

Of course, photos with the Pink Beret, Patch from HOP was a huge hit!

Teen Board helps the mall celebrate Dr. Seuss 75th Anniversary

Dr Seuss’ first book is turning 75. To celebrate, Lehigh Valley Mall with the help of the Teen Board planned an event to delight & surprise this past Saturday, the 25th of February from 11am – 2pm.

This three hour event was oh so sweet,
It featured activites and fun from “Mulberry Street”,
Throw in a parade, goody bags, Thing 1 and Thing 2 and more,
Can you stand the excitement…oh, oh what fun we had in store!

Dr. Seuss is celebrating his 75th Anniversary with a tribute to the first book released “Mulberry Street.” It’s about the Who’s and Horton, The Cat and the Hat and many more books you can read and that’s that!

Many a person joined us for two story times with Mayor Ed Hozza, crown, tiara and bookmark decorating, prizes, DVD screening with PBS and photo ops with Thing 1 and Thing 2!

At the end of the event, we paraded around the mall and Kidgits Members  received a FREE goody bag and even cookies!

What more can we say
except that a good time was had by all!
